14 Goodwill Finds Worth $500+ in 2026 (Real eBay Sold Prices)

It is easy to miss out on valuable items when thrifting, even in those sections where you know there will be something good hiding. While everyone expects Goodwill items to be worth another $10-$50, the truth is that some of the $2-$10 dollar items could sell for $500 to a couple of thousand nowadays.

Goodwill Finds

Each one of the items in this list is valuable enough to be resold and can commonly be found in thrift shops. Save and keep this list in your pocket when you are Goodwill shopping.

Goodwill Antiques That Can Resell for Hundreds Right Now

1

Pyrex Pink Duchess Lidded Bowl

Average Goodwill Price: $5 to $15

Average eBay Price: $1,500 to $2,000+

Pyrex Pink Duchess
Source: eBay – daddys-9103

The Pink Duchess is a soft pink casserole with a delicate gold floral vine that runs around the middle. This is one of the hardest to find patterns of Pyrex, as this is a vintage promotional pattern of 1959 made to give as a hostess gift from Stanley Products.

Another reason for its high value is that the pink base color is a subdued color, and the gold trim fades when washed in the dishwasher.

What to check: The gold floral band must still be sharp and unfaded, and the matching clear lid with the pinched glass knob has to be present.

2

Fire King Jadeite Teardrop Nesting Bowls

Average Goodwill Price: $10 to $25 per bowl

Average eBay Resale Price: $1,000 to $1,500 (set of 4)

Fire-King Teardrop bowls have a distinctive angled shape that flares out at the top, giving them the teardrop nickname. Single bowls turn up at Goodwill fairly often, but a complete matching nested set of all four sizes in that soft jadeite green is rare.

What to check: All four sizes must be present, and the green must be uniform across the set. Mismatched shades signal a pieced-together set, which drops the value.

3

Roseville “Pine Cone” Umbrella Stand (Green, 1936)

Average Goodwill Price: $15 to $40

Average eBay Sold Price: $1,500 to $2,000

Pine Cone is one of Roseville’s most produced patterns overall. So, it may be common on small items, but the large forms like umbrella stands and floor vases are quite valuable.

This tall green Pine Cone umbrella stand from 1936, with sculpted twig handles and molded pine needles, can easily fetch up to $2,000.

Collector’s Note: The blue colorway sells for even more. Size and form also matter, along with the color and the pattern name alone.

4

Vintage Chanel Quilted Flap Bag (Pre-1990)

Average Goodwill Price: $25 to $100

Average eBay Sold Price: $1,500 to $4,000 (authenticated vintage)

Older Chanel bags show up in Goodwill’s clothing racks or accessory bins fairly often, and the jewelry case sometimes gets one when donations get sorted incorrectly.

What to check: Look for a serial number sticker inside the bag (six or seven digits for older pieces), a matching authenticity card, and hand-stitched diamond quilting that lines up at the seams.

Fake Chanel almost always has misaligned quilting, so you’ll spot it instantly.

5

Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk

Average Goodwill Price: $40 to $150

Average eBay Sold Price: $3,000 to $12,000+

Not as frequently as other antiques, you may see old LV trunks in Goodwill outlets and larger stores. They’re usually painted over or covered in stickers, but some are seen in original condition. These steamer trunks have a huge resale value on eBay.

The rectangular flat-top trunks with the monogram canvas or Damier check pattern still bring the most money, but even the plain painted vintage trunks with authentic LV hardware and construction sell for a few thousand dollars.

6

Cartier Tank Watch

Average Goodwill Price: $20 to $75

Average eBay Sold Price: $3,000 to $25,000+ (authenticated pieces)

Cartier Tanks turn up in donated jewelry lots, especially estate donations where families didn’t know what they were passing along. Any authenticated vintage-era model is extremely valuable today, with some selling for over $20,000, depending on the condition and model.

ID Check: Real Cartier has a serial number engraved cleanly on the back or side, “Cartier” on the crown, and a small blue sapphire cabochon set into the winding crown.

7

Weller “Sicard” Iridescent Pottery Vase

Average Goodwill Price: $10 to $25

Average eBay Sold Price: $800 to $1,500

Weller Sicard Iridescent Pottery Vase

Sicard is Weller’s short-lived iridescent art nouveau line, known for its metallic glaze with purples, greens, pinks, and golds shifting across the surface. Production only lasted five years, which is why authentic pieces command real money. You’re lucky if you find it at Goodwill.

Collector’s Note: Most Sicard pieces have a small signature reading “Weller Sicard” scratched into the glaze rather than an impressed mark.

8

Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Bowl

Average Goodwill Price: $15 to $40

Average eBay Sold Price: $2,000 to $8,000+

Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Bowl
Source: eBay – centuryceramics

Fairyland Lustre pieces designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones have dark iridescent glazes with tiny painted fairies, elves, and bridges. They look strange enough that pricers at Goodwill often can’t place them and mark them cheaply.

ID Tip: Every Fairyland piece is marked Wedgwood on the base along with a pattern number starting with Z.

9

First Edition Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Average Goodwill Price: $2 to $5

Average eBay Sold Price: $3,000 to $10,000+ (per printing & condition)

First Edition Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Source: eBay – finitebooks

Vintage books, especially popular first edition novels, are worth a lot. The true first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, first printing UK hardback, is a five-figure book.

But even the later printings of the first edition (like the 3rd printing) sell in the $3,000 range because they came out before Harry Potter got famous, and print runs were still small.

Check This: The copyright page must say “Bloomsbury” and list a print line ending with “1.” The author’s name should read “Joanne Rowling,” and the back cover credits illustrator Thomas Taylor.

10

Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera

Average Goodwill Price: $8 to $20

Average eBay Resale Price: $500 to $1,000

Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera
Source: eBay – montag-morgen-133

The folding SX-70 is one of the most recognizable cameras ever made. Film photographers actively hunt the working examples today. The Alpha 1 version with a chrome body and black leather is the more desirable variant.

Goodwill electronics sections rarely have tested pieces, so they sit priced like any dead vintage electronic.

What to check: Open the camera, press the shutter button, and listen for the motor. A working SX-70 that clicks and whirs is where the value lies.

11

Sterling Silver Georg Jensen Flatware

Average Goodwill Price: $10 to $30 per piece

Average eBay Sold Price: $2,000 to $20,000+ (complete place setting)

Sterling Silver Georg Jensen Flatware

Georg Jensen is Danish sterling that is often misfiled in Goodwill jewelry cases and flatware bins. That’s why you should always look for the maker’s mark and hallmarks on vintage flatware at Goodwill.

Valuable patterns, like Jensen’s Acorn with its sculpted acorn finials at the base of each handle, can sell for thousands of dollars if found as complete plate settings.

12

Fire King Kimberly Clear Stacking Mugs

Average Goodwill Price: $2 to $6 for a set

Average eBay Resale Value: $1,500 to $1,500 (high for bigger sets)

Kimberly is one of Fire-King’s rarest patterns. The mugs are almost clear glass with a molded diamond-and-grape design running around the body. Most people overlook these at Goodwill, mistaking them for generic pressed glass.

If you see them, don’t walk away without taking a closer look. Check for the “Anchor Hocking / Fire-King / Over-Proof / Made in USA” embossing on the bottom, plus the anchor mark to make sure the mugs are authentic.

Vintage Levi’s 501 “Big E” Selvedge Jeans

Average Goodwill Price: $5 to $8

Average eBay Resale Price: $500 to $4,000

Any Levi’s made before 1971 has the word “LEVI’S” in all capitals on the little red tab, and that single detail can drastically change the value. Japanese collectors and vintage denim buyers hunt these pairs, especially the ones with a red line woven into the selvage edge.

What to check: Flip the jeans inside out and look at the outseam. A thin red thread running down the finished edge is the redline selvedge. Also, confirm the capital E on the back tab.

Vintage Nike Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” (1985)

Average Goodwill Price: $8 to $20

Average eBay Sold Price: $800 to $3,000+ (condition & size)

Sneaker collectors treat 1985 original Air Jordan 1s in the red, white, and black colorway as historically important. Even worn, unwearable pairs sell for hundreds to display collectors, and clean pairs with the original box push into five figures.

What to check: The tongue tag on originals reads “AIR JORDAN” over the wings logo, the box (if included) says “Nike Air” in the original block font, and the size tag is stitched inside the tongue.

Modern retro reissues have the Jumpman logo instead of the wings logo.
